Hands-on tutorial on Nov 22

The tutorial on Nov 22 will be held as an hands-on tutorial in the compiler lab (room F2.530, Fürstenallee).

This is a one-time offer for students who want some help or advice when they get started with Lama and Eli. In this tutorial we will work on the syntactic analysis part of our semester project: the structure generator.

Before the tutorial you should design a concrete grammar for the input of the structure generator on paper. The published solutions for assignment 1 contain some suggestions on the format of the input. Of course, you are welcome to implement your own ideas as well.

Further tutorials will be held in our usual room (C2.232). Group 1 meets on Nov 29 and Group 2 on Dec 6.

Due to the high number of participants two tutorial groups have been created. The two groups meet in alternating weeks on Thursdays at 16.15 in room C2.232. Here is a detailed schedule:

Future tutorials will begin at 16.15. Because of the holiday on Nov 1, the next tutorial will be held on Oct 25.

Even if you have missed the first tutorial, your are welcome to join us now. We will split the tutorial in two groups, if there is sufficient demand.
